On August 17th, Parlay of the Week went live across the site, a weekly competition that puts the community's accumulators up against each other instead of against the book. League pages now chart the title race
On August 14th, league pages picked up a chart tracking each top team's odds of winning the championship across the season. It sits on the Outrights and Standings tabs with a live legend, and you can hover to scrub back through the timeline and read any team's implied probability at a given point in the campaign. It only switches on for leagues where the underlying data exists, so coverage varies by competition. For anyone betting soccer outrights, it turns a single current price into the shape of the whole race, which is where the mispricings tend to hide.
A VIP channel opens in community chat
On August 20th, a dedicated VIP channel opened in community chat for players at the Emerald loyalty tier and above. Players below that tier see it as a locked tab naming the tier required to get in, so the door is visible even when it is shut. Emerald and up can post there like any other channel.
Last Football Hero, exclusive to Cloudbet
On August 18th, Last Football Hero went live in the casino as a Cloudbet Exclusive, a limited run that stayed up until the end of the month. A supporting tournament ran alongside the launch. Exclusives do not turn up at other books, which is rather the point of running them.
Chat gets a personality
On August 3rd, stickers and emoji arrived in community chat. The next day, messages started carrying credibility badges for Whale, Cloudbet Ambassador and Community Captain, matching the badges already shown on Pulse posts. On August 12th a green badge joined them for whoever currently holds a Most Tailed leaderboard rank, and it clears itself the moment they drop off, with no page reload needed. Small things on their own. Together they mean you can tell at a glance whether the person calling a line in chat has a record behind it.
Players get to rewrite what Pulse says about them
On August 12th, Pulse started letting the player a post is about rewrite the description it wrote for them. It covers bet posts and casino wins, though not posts tailed from someone else, and an edited post carries an 'In their own words' chip so readers know the wording is the player's rather than the machine's. Most of what a social feed says about you is written for you. This is the first handle players have had on how their own results get described.
Biggest wins of the month
