Cloudbet, the leading crypto sportsbook and casino, has partnered with undefeated MMA champion Dakota Ditcheva to launch Dangerous Beauty, a bold, stylized short film that takes dead aim at the phrase “fight like a girl”—and turns it into a threat.
Part visual essay, part knockout reel, the film challenges assumptions around femininity and force in combat sports, casting Ditcheva as both subject and narrator.
The release comes on the heels of Ditcheva’s dominant win over Sumiko Inaba at the PFL Champions Series in South Africa — a historic card marking the first major MMA event held on African soil. Ditcheva extended her unbeaten record to 15-0, despite breaking her hand mid-fight.

Not your cliché
Dangerous Beauty takes aim at one of sport’s oldest throwaway lines: “fight like a girl.” The short film flips the insult on its head, blending stylized narration with AI-rendered backdrops and green screen footage of Dakota Ditcheva delivering a clinical list of “treatments”: dark circle eye repair, deep tissue massage, cosmetic dentistry.
Only, these aren’t spa sessions — they’re setups for illustrated reenactments of her most savage strikes. Every service named cuts to a blow delivered: knees to the face, spinning elbows, relentless clinchwork. Part promo, part provocation, the film is a visual retort that hits like Dakota herself — clean, precise, and unapologetically brutal.
“It’s not parody,” said a Cloudbet spokesperson. “It’s a rewrite. Dangerous Beauty reclaims what it means to ‘fight like a girl’ — and Dakota controls every frame.”
A rising force in women’s MMA
The film taps into a larger trend in combat sports:
· Women now account for roughly 12% of professional MMA bouts worldwide, according to a 2025 Gitnux report.
· 27.3% of Gen Z’s avid fans of MMA are female, according to Knit market research.
· Since 2018, the number of registered female fighters has jumped by more than 30% (wifitalents.com).
Ditcheva, re-signed and redefined
The 26-year-old Brit used her post-fight spotlight to confirm a new multi-year deal with PFL. After eight months out of action — a stretch she blamed on a lack of credible challengers — she returned with a dominant performance that underscored her place at the top of the flyweight division.
